Private Lessons
Tuition
Louise Strickland has been teaching recorder and clarinet for almost twenty years, working for private pupils, music services, mainstream and special schools and Saturday centres across London. She also coaches several ensembles. Her pupils range from toddlers to A-level music students.
Louise enters students for both ABRSM and Trinity Guildhall practical exams and for ABRSM theory exams. Lessons are typically 30 minutes long, by arrangement. (Travel time may be chargeable for lessons held outside of the Richmond/Kew area.)
Louise currently teaches at Unicorn School, Kew and St Paul’s Girl’s School, London. She is a member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians and the British Kodaly Academy.
Workshops
Louise has worked on Summer Schools and courses for adults such as Fantasia Music School and Northern Early Music Forum as well as taking part in musicianship and instrumental workshops for children in schools and concert venues.
